Neil Kitching talks about his book, Carbon Choices, which offers practical solutions to help all of us overcome climate change. This book will help businesses and consumers to influence governments to set the right regulatory framework; to encourage businesses to offer consumers better choices; and to empower individuals to make better choices for our climate and for wildlife.
Neil felt compelled to write this book to see if he can, in some own small way, help people to make the change that is necessary to prevent humans from causing climate change and destroying wildlife.
He is a geography graduate who worked as a Chartered Accountant and auditor for 20 years. He became increasingly frustrated knowing that humans were slowly ruining our planet. Most people seemed to be blissfully unaware, and he felt he was not doing anything about it. He made a successful career change to work to promote sustainable development policy for a government agency. He is now a member of the Institute of Water and work as an Energy Specialist. However, this book is his own work, outwith his employed work role. Any views expressed in the book are his own.
